DUBAI A PLACE OF WONDER

Dubai is where the romance of an ancient Arab land blends with the ultra-modern world of today. You’ll find the Xclusive Hotel Apartments close to the point where they meet. Al Bastakiya, the old quarter of the city, is a maze of winding alleyways and traditional Arab houses with wind towers to capture cool breezes from all points of the compass. Traditional Arab trading Dhows and smaller wooden Abras cruise the bustling waters of Dubai Creek – ancient Arab architecture on the Bur Dubai side, stunningly modern on the Deira side.

There is so much to see and do in Dubai. Here are just some of the attractions to enjoy during your stay.

DUBAI – THE SHOPPING CAPITAL OF THE WORLD

Dubai has over 20 modern shopping malls and with the wonderful traditional Arab Souks has earned the title of the shopping capital of the world. On the Deira side of the Dubai Creek you’ll find the famous Gold Souk, Spice Souk and Perfume Souk. Shopping Malls can be found in all areas of the city, the closest to the hotel are the Burjuman Mall, Lamcy Plaza, Wafi City and Mercato Mall. Computer Street and Bank Street are walking distance from our hotel.

Shopping hours in Dubai are from 8.00 hrs until 13.00hrs and then again from 16.00hrs to 21.00hrs. On Friday, shops are closed between 11.30hrs and 13.30hrs for prayers. Malls are open all day long.

To Edit a Record:

A selected record will have a Grey background.
Place your cursor into a datafield and type.
Use Tab (keyboard) to move to the next datafield.
Press Enter (keyboard) to commit your data. Your background will flicker Green.

To Create (or Delete) a Record:

If your GYRE has been enabled for the Toolbar, you will be able to Create New - or Delete existing records. An 'empty' (no values), temporary record will be at the bottom of your page when your page loads. This 'empty record' is only in your browser - and is not in your target Table. Note - you may need to scroll down for this record to be visible in your browser.
An Empty record will show (examples) 8 of 7 ... 49 of 48, etc in the Toolbar.
Type into your datafields in the EMPTY record, using Tab to move your cursor to the next field. When you are done - hit Enter on your keyboard. This record will flicker Green - and your new record will be committed to your Table.
After you hit Enter - a new 'Empty record' will appear at the bottom of your Browser. Continue the process described above until you are finished.
